SMT 2018 – a successful fair has ended
News / Messen
The SMT 2018 is over and we would like to take the opportunity to thank for the lively visits at our booth, the countless positive conversations, praise and encouragement and finally a successful week in Nuremberg.
We were especially pleased with the interest and positive feedback which we received from our costumers regarding our products. Our wide variety of exhibits for various solder mask concepts have been a highlight. That is why our trade fair motto “Is the old solder wave still alive?” hit the mark and we are confident to say: “Yes, she is still alive!”
We received numerous praise for our depaneling adapters and their various applications. The Matrixx-system has been convincing and our new sample providing automatic panel lowering into the depaneling level before and the perfect supply of the single component for removal after the depaneling process created enthusiasm.
We demonstrated the function of our support tool for the printing process for the first time live at our booth inside a stencil printer and we were able to thereby show its true value.
Our sales employees Oliver Hagemes and Peter Joas have been interviewed by the EPP during the fair. We recommend to watch the full interview to receive more information about our exhibition appearance and our products.
Finally, we would like to take the opportunity to express our gratitude.
We would like to thank the countless interested parties and costumers who visited us at our booth. We are looking forward to approach and realize future projects together.
We also would like to thank Schunk Electronic Solutions GmbH for an amazing time at our shared booth and the long lasting, fruitful partnership.
Furthermore, we would like to thank our numerous large and small business partners for the countless joint ventures, which we already mastered together and which we will attempt together in the future.
Last but not least, we would like to thank our colleagues for their support. You made this fair a real success!
We are looking forward seeing you soon!

An eventful Productronica 2017 is behind us
The personal and constructive talks were a huge added value for our company.
In addition to many new contacts, our longstanding existing customers also had interesting discussions and the resulting topics.
Many customers are concerned with the ever-increasing miniaturization of assemblies and the resulting tasks and requirements in paste printing, wave soldering and blanking.
However, electromobility also presents many of our customers with new technical challenges.
The company Schnaidt GmbH is looking forward together with your business partners to tackle and master the tasks arising in the future.
Thanks for your visit! We look forward to implementing the new, exciting projects with you.

Mr. Hagemes strengthens our team
Since 1 October 2017, Oliver Hagemes has been strengthening Schnaidt GmbH in Cologne as a sales representative for the west germany region. Mr. Hagemes brings more than seven years of experience to production equipment for electronic assemblies and is looking forward to the new task in the Schnaidt sales team.
Mr. Oliver Hagemes
We can look back at an eventful SMT 2017 trade fair
Technical discussions of both a personal and constructive nature which we conducted at this event represented considerable added value for our company.
Our latest product, the stencil printing support, attracted visitors like a magnet. This innovation is a successful addition to our portfolio in the process engineering area. The experience of our customers indicates that more than half the problems encountered in the SMD process occur as a result of uneven application of solder paste during stencil printing. In particular, assemblies with large outer dimensions can shift during the stencil printing process, resulting in misalignment during printing. In many cases, the process parameters which can effectively counter this are limited, and increasingly smaller components and pitch distances add to the rejection rate.
In contrast to frequently employed methods involving the checking of product quality on completion of printing using increasingly sophisticated measurement systems, our stencil printing support intervenes directly in the process.
Following a long and exhausting day at the trade fair, our customers also had the chance to refresh themselves again with a cold drink and snack in our very own beer garden.
Your visit to our stand contributed decisively to our success, and we are looking forward to working closely with you on new exciting projects.

Rehm Conformal Coating Day at 03/02/2017
On March 2, 2017 Rehm Thermal Systems organized the Conformal Coating Day.
The coating of electronic assemblies is an important measure to avoid corrosion-related malfunctions. Within the production of the electronic assembly, coating is normally the last process step. Mistakes can be very cost intensive here and in the worst case can deliver devastating results in the field.
The seminar, organized by the company Rehm Thermal Systems, offered the participants the opportunity to deal extensively with the production process “protective coating” and its function on electronic assemblies.
The company Schnaidt GmbH, together with the specialist lecturer “Special requirements on the varnishing carrier”, informed all participants about the possibilities which varnish carriers can contribute to process safety and optimization.
In the course of the course, the participants were able to see the benefits of the different versions of variable- and project-specific varnishing vats from Schnaidt. In-depth expertise and process know-how in the painting process make the company Schnaidt the No. 1 supplier for varnishing machine carriers!

100 % sustainable energy enables us to save 280.8 tonnes of CO² per annum.
2014 saw our promises transformed into action as, rather than simply concluding a conventional electricity contract, we decided to opt for a supply of 100 % sustainable energy. This decision in favour of sustainable energy means that, given an annual consumption currently totalling 538,000 kilowatt hours, we will be able to save 280.8 tonnes of CO² per annum in future! This represents a significant contribution on our part to environmental protection and climate change mitigation. The choice of the AmmerNatur sustainable energy product will also support projects in Ammerbuch, as Gemeindewerke Ammerbuch GmbH, the local utility provider, intends to invest 100 % of additional revenues generated through AmmerNatur in the development of electricity generation from sustainable sources. For example, 2013 saw the construction of several photovoltaic systems by Gemeindewerke Ammerbuch GmbH in Altingen, Poltringen, Pfäffingen and Reusten.
